The Raven II is quickly becoming the world's most popular, and widely used light commercial helicopter. The Raven II delivers
the performance of an expensive turbine helicopter at an affordable piston price. Its impressive speed (130 knots VNE or 150
mph - is the same as the Bell Jet Ranger ), sleek design, and unparalleled reliability give it the competitive edge in today's
fast-paced, changing environment. In addition the Robinson helicopters are equipped with a governor for controlling the engine
RPM's ( so you fly it just like a turbine ). The Raven II has an unbeatable hydraulic system installed that greatly reduce
pilot fatigue, and creates excellent controllability.

and thanks for choosing Treasure State Helicopters for your professional helicopter training.
One of the
main reasons for starting this flight school was to fill the gaps between commercial jobs, to give students quality instruction
and training at a FAIR price and allow them to excel at their own pace. Silverstate was charging students $69,900 for
an R-22 school and $99,900 for the R-44. We can get 175 hours logged in your book for only $63,000 with an instructor. This
is more than enough flight time for you to obtain your Private, Instrument, Commercial and CFI/CFII ratings, or stop
at commercial with 150 hours logged for $54,000, and all in a Robinson R-44 Raven II instrument helicopter. Do
the math - it works out to just $360 per hour of flight time!! That's tens of thousands of dollars cheaper than silverstate!
Ground school is not included in this pricing, but on the average enough ground school to get through CFI is about $3,500.
( and that is if all ground is one on one ). We are also proud to announce that our students have been passing their FAA written
exams with above 90% scores. Classroom ground school is held two nights per week from 7 to 9 pm., it covers everything for
the private and commercial exams. We fly a brand new R-44 Raven II. We are prepared and will immediately pick up another
aircraft if the demand is there. We carry a complete full coverage insurance policy ( not a "self insured" company
like SSH or a cheap insurance that only covers liability ). We are registered with the State of Montana. You
can buy time by the hour or in ten hour blocks. A pay as you go school. More than 75% of your training will be at a density
altitude of more than 7,000 feet, and some of it up to near the ceiling limits of the R-44 (14,000'). Logging this high
mountain flying time will tremendously help you in landing a job. We teach and practice mountain flying techniques. Our
aircraft are stored in a heated hanger. On top of all that, being able to do your training at Bozeman, Montana in
some of the most beautiful landscapes in the U.S.A. From time to time every year we ferry our helicopter out of
town for tours and other work. This has been a great way for our skilled rated students to get FREE
STICK TIME, and introduce them to some of the commercial world. On top of all of that since our aircraft seats
4 people our students can share the experience of helicopter flying with their friends and family members. We base our
company on making money doing commercial work. We only work for wages and to cover the cost of maintenance, insurance,
fuel, and hangar costs when training students. Many of you know us, call at any time.

•
Student aircraft rental with an instructor is $450.00 per hour of hobbs time. • Student aircraft rental with an
instructor when purchasing a 10 hour block of hobbs time is $425.00 per hour. • One on one student ground instruction
is $50.00 per hour. • Classroom ground school prices will vary depending on the number of students in the class.
* Hobbs time is collective activated, so it only counts time while in-flight, not during warm-ups, shutdowns, or while
sitting on the ground fueling or lecturing students on maneuvers. ( The R-22, and Schwietzer helicopter schools charge
you full price as soon as you turn on the key. That adds up to thousands of dollars that you pay for time running on the ground
while attending one of those schools! )
* Rather than raising the per-hour cost, a
$25.00 fee will be added to each flight. ( this is to help cover the cost of scheduling, CFI wages, and the higher cost of
fuel )
